Each month the reimbursement bill will be paid, including principal and interest: $12,000.00/6 + $180.00 = $2,180.00. For a loan of $12,000 due in 180 days, you will pay only $1,080 ($12,000*0.05%*180=$1,080) in interest. The total amount to be paid would be $13,080($12,000+$1,080=$13,080).
